Child injured in hit and run in London Road, Ditton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a child was injured in a hit and run.
The girl was taken to Tunbridge Wells hospital in Pembury with minor head and arm injuries after being struck down in London Road, Ditton at 3.15pm last Thursday.
Officers understand the car, a silver Vauxhall Corsa with a spoiler and body kit, travelled from New Road into London Road and failed to stop afterwards.
Shortly after 5pm the same day, a 26-year-old man from Aylesford was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
He was later released pending further investigation.
