Larkfield: London Road cordoned off while police investigate security van threat

Police are appealing for witnesses after the driver of a security van was threatened in Larkfield, prompting officers to put the road on lockdown.
Larkfield Road, off London Road, in Larkfield, was sealed off at around 10.30am after the G4S van was targeted as it waited outside a row of banks.
The driver of a cash delivery security van returned to his vehicle to find a written demand for cash that had been placed in the door by unknown offenders.

No cash was stolen and enquiries are underway.
Half a dozen police officers were at the scene this afternoon, while forensic investigators carried out work.
Head of Operational Risk for G4S Cash Solutions, Gareth Skinner said: "Following an incident involving a G4S vehicle in Larkfield on Wednesday 1 November at around 10.30am, police were called and are in attendance on site. G4S is assisting with their inquiries.”
There was speculation the suspects were wearing bunny rabbit and Donald Trump costumes.
