Arrests after attempted burglary at Snodland Co-op

Three people have been charged following an attempted break-in at a Snodland supermarket.
The failed burglary happened at the High Street Co-op store during the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police were called at 12.10am after reports the offenders were attempting to smash their way through a glass door.
Officers attended the scene and detained three suspects following a search of the area.
Ricky Watson, aged 33 of Brook Lane, Snodland and a 17-year-old boy, also from Snodland, have since been charged with causing criminal damage.
Darren Selwood, aged 33, of Edna Road, Maidstone has been charged with causing criminal damage and possessing an catapult in a public place.
All three have been bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on August 8.
