Police appeal after champagne stolen from M&S in Quarry Road, Aylesford

A brazen thief reportedly piled his supermarket trolley with pricey champagne - then left without paying.
The incident allegedly took place at M&S in Quarry Road, Aylesford at 6.30pm last night.
Police have since issued an appeal to locate the culprit.
A spokesman said: "It is reported that a man pushed a trolley containing bottles of champagne from the shop without paying, before leaving in a car. He may have been accompanied by a woman.
"The man is described as white, in his 40s, 5ft 10ins, bald and wearing a green jacket. His car is described as possibly a Ford Fiesta or a Fiat Punto.
"Anyone with information that can help is asked to contact Kent Police on 01622 604100 quoting reference YY/026987/16.
