Fire crews were called to a blaze that destroyed a caravan in Windmill Lane West, West Malling on Wednesday evening.

A large plume of smoke was seen coming from the caravan when fire crews arrived on the scene at 8.40pm.

Firefighters entered the property wearing breathing apparatus and used a hose reel to bring the fire under control.

A nearby toilet block was also damaged.

The blaze was extinguished by 9.03pm. Two crews were sent to the incident.
