New faces join Tonbridge and Malling cabinet

There are new faces in charge at Tonbridge and Malling.
Council leader Nicolas Heslop appointed two new members to the cabinet at the council’s annual meeting on Tuesday.
Cllr Sophie Shrubsole takes up the portfolio for housing and Cllr David Lettington will look after streetscene and environment.
They replace Cllrs Jill Anderson and Brian Luker, who have retired from their cabinet roles.
The other posts remain unchanged. Cllr Heslop, council leader and economic regeneration; Cllr Martin Coffin, is deputy leader and has responsibility for Finance, Innovation and Property; Cllr Maria Heslop, community; Cllr Howard Rogers, strategic planning and infrastructure.
Cllr Heslop said: “This new-look team is one that I believe is best placed to tackle the key challenges that face us.”
