Air ambulance in Kings Hill as cyclist hit by car on Kings Hill Avenue

A cyclist is being flown to hospital after a crash.
Air ambulance paramedics joined Kent Police and Secamb in Kings Hill after a crash between a car and bicycle this afternoon.
Officers were called to the Kings Hill Avenue roundabout with Tower View just before 1.30pm.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where the cyclist was treated for injuries. The air ambulance also attended and the cyclist was conveyed to a London hospital.
"King's Hill Avenue remains closed to traffic and initial enquiries into the circumstances are underway."
A Secamb spokesman confirmed it was at the scene and assisting Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex with treating the patient.
The air ambulance charity confirmed it was called out to the area at 1.27pm.
The cyclist has been airlifted to hospital.
