Vehicle strikes West Malling railway bridge causing Southeastern disruption between Otford and Maidstone East

Trains ran at severely reduced speeds after a vehicle struck a railway bridge.
The crash near West Malling at around 11am is caused disruption between Otford and Maidstone East.
Some services were diverted or delayed after the accident.
Network Rail staff are at the scene.
Preliminary safety checks have been carried out and Network Rail has authorised Southeastern to reopen.
Trains have now returned to normal after a 5mph speed limit was in place over the bridge.
