Man accused of causing death of mum by dangerous driving in Tenterden

A man accused of killing a mum by driving dangerously has appeared in court.
Thomas Whibley, 71, allegedly drove a Peugeot Independent dangerously along Cranbrook Road in Tenterden.
Sylvia Whibley, 82, was killed after the Peugeot collided with a Nissan Qashqai on April 13.
Claire Brockman was also seriously injured in the crash.
Whibley, of Temple Way, East Malling, denied causing serious injury by dangerous driving and causing death by dangerous driving at Maidstone Magistrates Court today.
He was released on unconditional bail to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on December 20.
