Concrete, mattress, table and doors dumped down rural road
12:00, 14 February 2018
Fly tipping is causing problems getting in and out of a village near West Malling.
Dumped concrete, along with furniture and doors is blocking Pinesfield Lane in Trottiscliffe.
David Urmston, from the village, said: "I have never seen fly-tipping like it.
"There's a whole mixture of stuff. It must have been quite a truck that dumped it."
It is thought the rubbish was dumped between 7pm and 8pm yesterday.
The road has been closed by Kent Highways, which will be clearing the road today.
A spokesman from Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council said: "We received a report first thing this morning of a fly tip blocking the road in Trottiscliffe.
"As such it’s been referred to Kent Highways who are responsible for clearing obstructions that block the highway."
