The family of a man who died in a crash on the M40 in Oxfordshire have paid tribute to him.
The car left the carriageway and collided with a road sign. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Alex, who moved to Stratford-Upon-Avon from East Peckham, to follow his dream of becoming a martial arts teacher, was due to move back to Kent on August 4 with his wife Jessica.
The pair had been married since August 2012, after first meeting in 2004. Paying tribute to her 29-year-old husband, Jess said: "We spent 10 wonderful years together. He was my best friend as well as my husband.
"I will always treasure the memories we shared but it feels like I have lost a part of me" - Wife Jessica Green
"I will always treasure the memories we shared but it feels like I have lost a part of me."
Alex had just left a job as a teaching assistant at a primary school in Stratford-Upon-Avon to take up a role in a special needs school in Westerham.
A statement released by the family said: "Alex was our loving and beautiful husband, son, brother, uncle and godfather, who always wore a wonderful smile or cheeky grin. He was full of energy, with a positive outlook and a zest for life.
"As devastated as we are by his sudden death, we take comfort from knowing just how many people he touched, the difference he really did make, and the knowledge that he was just so loved by all."
Hundreds of tributes flooded in on social media in the days following the crash.
A service will be held at Tonbridge Baptist Church, Darenth Avenue, on Tuesday, August 18 at 2pm.
An inquest into the deaths was opened and adjourned at Oxfordshire Coroner's Court on August 4. The full hearing will take place on January 14, 2016.
