Now, they are appealing for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Scooby, Orville, Jade and Perrie to come forward.

The charity said: "Please share far and wide. Our ferrets are believed to have been taken early this morning from RSPCA Leybourne Animal Centre.

"They are microchipped and neutered. Police are aware. Please keep and eye out. We need to get them back safe and sound."

Anyone who may have seen something is asked to contact the group on Facebook at www.tinyurl.com/leybournerspca, email leybourne@rspca.org.uk or ring 0300 123 0751.

The animal centre hit headlines earlier this year after some of its animal, including the quartet's brother Fred, predicted some of England's results at the Euro 2020 championships.
