Fire crews put out 'suspicious' fire at back of home in Larkfield, near Maidstone

Firefighters put out a "suspicious" blaze at the back of a house.

Crews were called to Brooklands Road, Larkfield, near Maidstone, at 2.45pm today.

A fire service spokesman said: "Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to put out the fire.

"No injuries were reported at this incident.

"The cause is thought to be suspicious."

Two fire engines were sent to tackle the blaze and they had left by 3.19pm.
