A gas leak at an industrial unit triggered an emergency response from firefighters.
Two fire engines were at the Quarry Wood Industrial Estate, Aylesford, after the suspected leak from a tanker was reported earlier this morning.
A height vehicle and an incident support unit was also sent to the scene where crews monitored the situation after being called at 8.40am.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) said: "There is no immediate risk to the public but as a precaution, people living and working in the immediate area are advised to close their windows and doors."
Emergency services were called last July to the industrial site after a 'chemical leak' from a package at the Hermes depot.
Paramedics and members of the Hazardous Area Response Team treated 15 patients at the scene with "minor symptoms."
It was later confirmed by the company that “two inert liquids, one of which was fabric conditioner, that had mixed from two separate leaking packages”.
At 3pm KFRS posted an update saying: "Crews monitored the leak, which was coming from a tanker, and helped to make the scene safe before leaving duty of care with the site management.
"The earlier advice to close windows and doors is no longer in place."
