Patients, volunteers and nurses at Heart of Kent Hospice came together for breakfast this week in preparation for its latest fundraising programme.
Relying almost entirely on public donations, the hospice hopes to bring family and friends together while raising much needed funds with its Have Breakfast for Heart of Kent Hospice scheme.
The independent charity is hoping community groups will set up their own fundraising breakfasts for two weeks from Monday, suggesting 14 ways to raise money over 14 days.
Ideas include a pancake party, organising a cake sale, or visiting the charity’s cafe.
The Preston Hall charity provides care at home or at its centre to 1,300 people, relying on the work of staff and its 500-strong team of volunteers.
