Firefighters from Kent, Surrey and London are battling a large blaze at a timber yard.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was joined by crews from London Fire Brigade and Surrey Fire and Rescue Service to tackle the fire in a timber yard on the Gaza Trading Estate between the Sevenoaks Weald area and Hildenborough.
Ten fire engines were sent to the incident along with a height vehicle and bulk water carrier.
They were called just before 7pm.
At 8.45pm, firefighting was ongoing and crews were still working hard to contain the fire.
Everyone had been accounted for and there were no reported injuries.
People living close by were asked to close their windows and doors as a precaution as the plume of smoke was so big.
Crews were using main jets to tackle the blaze which involves a range of buildings on the trading estate.
Meanwhile, three engines were tackling a fire in the roof of a home in Edge End Road, Broadstairs.
They were called just before 7pm and it was over by 9.20pm.
All occupants were out when firefighters arrived, who then donned breathing apparatus before going into the property to tackle the flames.
They used a piece of equipment called a spike to help them tackle the fire through the tiling as well as bringing in a height vehicle so they could also douse it from above.
The roof suffered extensive damage, with 25% of it destroyed. Two bedrooms suffered extensive water damage.
Red Cross Volunteers also attended to offer the occupants welfare and emotional support.
The cause isn't known at this stage.
