One lane is closed on the coast-bound M20 because of a car accident.

Lane one of three between junction 3 for Borough Green and junction 4 for Leybourne is blocked with emergency services at the scene.

It involved a lorry and a Renault Clio, although no serious injuries have been reported.

Police were called at 5.10pm and an update from Kent Highways at 5.41pm described the severity as 'high.'

Drivers have been asked to allow extra time for their journey.
