Fire on lorry axle closes one lane of M20 London-bound between junction 5 for Aylesford and 4 for Leybourne

A lorry fire closed one lane of a busy motorway this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the M20 London-bound between junction 5 for Aylesford and junction 4 for Leybourne.
A spokesman for the service confirmed the fire broke out on the rear axle of an articulated lorry just after 1.30pm.
Highways England tweeted to say one lane was closed and the vehicle had its brakes locked on.
All lanes were reopened just before 2pm.
