A lorry hit a railway bridge on a busy main road and was stuck for several hours this morning.
The A25 Maidstone Road in Borough Green was closed in both directions, along with disruption on the train line, after the vehicle became wedged under the bridge.
The incident was reported at around 5.16am, with the vehicle stuck between Grange Road, Platt and the A20 London Road, Wrotham Heath.
Southeastern said trains cannot run over the bridge until the lorry had been removed and the bridge inspected.
Maidstone East line services weren't able to run between Ashford and Otford, and were diverted via an alternative route.
The company also said at the time that replacement buses had been booked to run from around 7.20am.
At 9.20am, Southeastern posted an update saying that services are no longer disrupted.
The road reopened at about 2pm.
