Kings Hill: Robert Donovan banned from driving after police chase

A man has been banned from driving after a police chase.

Robert Donovan was spotted in the Kings Hill area and stopped in Beaufighter Road at 4.40pm on Tuesday after a short pursuit.

He stopped the car and a squad car was then used to block him from driving off.

The 42-year-old, of Aldon Lane in Addington was subsequently arrested and pleaded guilty to criminal damage to property, dangerous driving, using a vehicle without third party insurance and driving without a licence at Medway Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

He was given a four month suspended prison sentence, disqualified from driving for 18 months, given a rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to pay £200 in court costs.
