Chatham man charged with sexual assault on bus heading to Larkfield

A man has been charged after a woman was sexually assaulted on a bus.
Kareem Esono-Dagrasa, 22, of Maidstone Road, Chatham, was arrested by police after the incident on May 30 in Snodland.
The victim, who was with a friend, reported that a man, who was unknown to her, had got on the same bus as her heading towards Larkfield.
While at the top deck of the bus, the man sat in the next row to them, but as the victim went to go back downstairs, she reported that he sexually assaulted her over her clothing.
Officers made an arrest following an investigation and on June 8, Esono-Dagrasa was charged with sexual assault on a female.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court where he was bailed to appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on September 30.
