A man has been cut free from his car following a three vehicle crash this afternoon.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to Coldharbour Lane, in Aylesford, shortly after 1.30pm.

Once there firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to free him before he was taken to hospital.

The road was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident and one lane remains shut.

Firefighters left the scene shortly before 3pm.
