Larkfield: Man stabbed near fire station

A man suffered stab wounds after an altercation involving a number of people.
Police are investigating the incident, which happened in the early hours of this morning in Ditton and Larkfield.
It's believed the victim was involved in an argument outside the Esso petrol station in London Road, Ditton, around 3am.
He was then walking home shortly afterwards when he was violently attacked in New Hythe Lane, Larkfield.
A police spokesman confirmed his injuries were "consistent with being stabbed".
He was taken to hospital, where he remains with serious but not life-threatening injuries. He is said to be in a stable condition.
Two men, both 21 and from the West Malling area, were arrested in connection with the assault, and have been released, pending further investigation.
Inquiries are ongoing, and police would like to speak to anyone with information about the incident.
