Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a crash between East Peckham and Paddock Wood.
The collision happened on the A228 Branbridges Road, at about 7.15pm last night, leaving the 46-year-old man dead at the scene.
His family have been informed.
The road was closed near the Hop Farm for a number of hours to allow forensic investigation of the scene. No vehicles were involved apart from the victim's red Ducati motorbike.
PC Jamie Woodhams from the serious collision investigation unit said: "This is a fairly busy stretch of road and I would appeal to anyone who saw the collision, or the vehicle in the moments leading up to the collision to contact us with any information they think could be relevant."
Witnesses are asked to call investigators on 01622 798538, or email sciu.td@kent.pnn.police.uk
