Offham: Bonfire spreads in Church Road
08:56, 10 May 2017
Around 30 tonnes of wooden pallets, as well as neighbouring trees, were alight after a bonfire got out of control.
The blaze started in Church Road, Offham near West Malling at 6.45pm yesterday and firefighters were on the scene within six minutes of receiving the 999 call.
Crews used a JCB to make a fire break, to stop it from spreading and a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
