A classic campervan has been stolen from the home of an elderly Ditton man.
The rare Ford Thames 400E camper was taken from John Farrer's driveway in Priory Grove in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The 87-year-old has owned the vehicle since 1966 and has used it to travel all over the UK and Europe.
It holds great sentimental value to the family. The colour is potentially unique as it was resprayed shortly after the owner purchased it.
It is fitted with a pop-up roof revealing a different shade of green underneath and has been repaired on the bottom of the passenger door which will stand out.
It has a number of stickers on the windows and windscreen including ones for the Dormobile owners club.
Friends of the family say there will be a high reward for any information leading to the safe return of the vehicle.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Kent Police on 101
