Images have emerged of the inside of a Chinese takeaway which could close down after the owner breached hygiene and safety regularions.
David Wen, 52, Owner of Happy Times in London Road, Larkfield, appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, April 9 where he was told he was now banned from managing a food business.
At a previous court appearance the restaurateur pleaded guilty to selling food not of the nature demanded by the purchaser, as well as charges of failing to keep food premises clean and maintained, failing to clean and disinfect equipment and failing to protect food against contamination.
He also continued to use a mechanical vegetable chopper deemed dangerous because of a lack of guard to keep the user's hands away from moving parts.
But the regulation breaches were just a culmination of poor hygiene conditions over the years since the restaurant opened in 2008.

Since setting up shop, Wen has never achieved a food hygiene rating higher than three out of five - and that was on only two occasions.
On visits in February and June last year environmental health inspectors found overflowing bins, flies, an extractor fan leaking grease, mouldy food, dirty cloths, and no disinfectant on site.
