A road was closed this morning after a trailer overturned.

Police were called to the A228 in Snodland at 9.53am following reports the trailer had overturned, obstructing the southbound carriageway.

Both lanes were closed to ensure public safety and allow for the trailer to be recovered.

No injuries were reported.

The road was re-opened at 12.20pm.
