Lost German shepherd causes delays on the M20 after it ran along the hard shoulder near Leybourne

A runaway dog caused delays for drivers on the M20 today.
A German shepherd was spotted running on the hard shoulder of the motorway on the London-bound carriageway, near to Junction 4 for Leybourne.
Kent Police was called to help catch the lost pet at 11.30am.
Rolling road blocks were put in place on both sides of the motorway while officers attempted to the find the white-haired animal.
The dog was found a short time later and was returned to its owner in the Leybourne Lakes area.
