Morrisons Daily set to come to Tonbridge High Street between Claire’s and Oxfam

A Kent high street is set to welcome a new addition to the town this Autumn.
Building work has started outside an empty unit between Oxfam and Claire’s in Tonbridge High Street.
Planning documents reveal it will be turned into a Morrisons Daily, if approved.
A planning application was had been put in place since October last year on the unit it to remove the parking bays out the back of the site and make more commercial floor space.
It goes on to explain how above the ground floor shop unit there will be a living space in the form of flats.
The supermarket confirmed it would be coming to the area as a smaller branded store.
It is understood that Morrisons are working to open the store in October.
It declined to give any further information about the move.
