Maidstone woman arrested after police officers stop car in Quarrywood Industrial Estate, Aylesford

A suspected drug driver was pulled over by eagle-eyed police officers who noticed her car had defective tyres.
Patrols noticed the suspicious vehicle in Quarrywood Industrial estate, Aylesford, and asked it to stop on the evening of Wednesday, March 6.
Following checks on the car officers found that it was not insured, had no valid MOT or vehicle excise licence, had defective rear tyres and one of the front tyres was showing cords.
The driver also had an expired licence and failed a roadside drugs wipe.
A 36-year-old woman from Maidstone was arrested on suspicion of traffic offences including drug driving and dangerous and unsuitable use of a vehicle.
She has since been bailed pending further inquiries.
