Kent Police appeal for witnesses following robbery of teenager in Snodland High Street

A teenager was robbed of his bag as he walked down Snodland High Street in broad daylight on Monday.
The 19-year-old was approached from behind by a man between 2pm and 2.15pm and had his bum bag, which contained money, stolen.
The victim told police he is unsure of exactly what happened but he got up off the floor to chase the suspect past Queen’s Avenue in the direction of the A228, but lost sight of him.
The robber is believed to be 6ft tall and was wearing a grey hooded top at the time.
He also had a black coat that had three light coloured buttons and was also wearing light coloured jeans.
Police are now appealing for anyone who has any information to make contact.
