Thousands enjoyed a sun-soaked carnival with an old-fashioned community atmosphere.
The annual Snodland Carnival, which attracts some 3,000 people every year, saw dozens of floats and local groups parade from Holmesdale Technology College in Malling Road through the town to Potyns Sports Ground in Constitution Hill.
There was a theme of emergency services this year, with many embracing the costume, from lifeguards, to firefighters, nurses, doctors and walking wounded.
The crowds joined the parade as it made its way through the streets in the warm sunshine.
Cllr Anne Moloney, vice-chairman of Snodland Town Council, said: "We were lucky to have a bit of a breeze as it was very hot, but people had lots of ice creams.
"It went very well and everybody seemed to have a lot of fun."
