Leybourne: Two arrested on suspicion of theft in Bannister Way

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of theft after being caught loading containers into the back of a van.
Police attended Bannister Way in Leybourne around 8.30pm yesterday, where they found the men with eight 25-litre containers, believed to be filled with diesel.
The men, a 46-year-old from Leybourne and a 29-year-old from Thornton Heath, were arrested on suspicion of theft.
They remain in police custody.
