A vehicle caught fire on the A228 Ashton Way near West Malling.

The blaze was on the north-east bound carriageway heading towards Kings Hill near Tower View.

Fire crews were called to the scene just before 8am.

Traffic queued back to the junction with the M20, but congestion has now cleared.

There were no reports of any injuries.
