Woman taken to hospital after car hits dry cleaners in Martin Square, Larkfield

A woman has been taken to hospital after her car ploughed into a dry cleaners shop.

Police say the woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The accident happened in Martin Square, Larkfield, shortly after 8.10am.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service and the South East Coast Ambulance Service were also in attendance.

An ambulance spokesman said two crews were sent to the scene.

The woman driver was able to free herself from the car before paramedics arrived.

She was treated at the scene before being taken to Maidstone Hospital, suffering from leg and chest injuries.
