This crashed car has become a familiar sight for motorists passing one of Medway's busiest roundabouts.
It appeared about two weeks ago, leaving tyre marks and with its front smashed after crashing onto the Four Elms roundabout at Wainscott. It is not known if anyone was injured.
The silver Vauxhall has been decorated with police tape but has been left abandoned leaving drivers to wonder if it will simply be left there in perpuity, possibly as an art installation - Medway's version of Milton Keynes's concrete cows, perhaps.
It will certainly be cheaper than Medway Council's major project on another roundabout in Gillingham - a £135,000 Japanese garden in the middle of the busy Ito Way.
A spokesman for police said in situations like this it is the owner's responsibility to arrange recovery of the vehicle.
As long as it's not causing an obstruction Kent Police wouldn't get involved.
