A man has appeared in court to deny committing almost 30 sex offences against six boys.
Robert Wain, of Victoria Street, Gillingham , is charged with six cases of rape of a male under 16; one case of rape of a male 16 or over; 18 cases of indecent assault of a boy under 16 and one attempted indecent assault of a boy under 16.
The 58-year-old appeared at Woolwich Crown Court yesterday in connection with the alleged incidents said to have taken place in Woolwich and Eltham in the 1990s.
Wain was arrested in February following an investigation by detectives from the Met Police's South East Safeguarding team.
He was further arrested in April and subsequently charged on September 10.
He will next appear at the same court in November 19.
