The emergency services – including the air ambulance – were called to a medical incident earlier today.
Residents in the area surrounding Wakeley Road and the junction of Mardale Close, Rainham, reported hearing sirens and spotted a helicopter circling overhead at around 11.30am.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service has confirmed its medics were called to a private address but was unable to provide further details due to patient confidentiality.
A fire engine also assisted at the property but left the scene at 12.13pm.
The police have said they were not in attendance.
It is understood the air ambulance returned to its base at Rochester Airport and did not fly to a hospital.
