Helicopter crews search the Rochester area near the M2 bridge for missing Gillingham man

The police helicopter is hovering over Rochester near the motorway bridge looking for a man from Gillingham.
The National Police Air Service helicopter is flying over the River Medway near the bridge in Borstal and is helping police on the ground.
They are looking for a missing 38-year-old.
A spokesman for police in Medway said he couldn’t reveal any other details about the search.

The helicopter was also scrambled late last night to help search for a missing Chatham man.
The National Police Air Service helicopter was used shortly before 11.30pm in the Borstal and Rochester areas to help locate a 23-year-old man reported missing from his home in Chatham.
A police spokesman said the man was later found safe and well in the Higham area.
