Firefighters spent all night tackling a rubbish blaze in Strood. Crews were called to Cuxton Close, near the Medway Valley Leisure Park just before 6pm on Wednesday.
A 50 tonne pile of rubbish had been set alight and the smoke could be seen billowing into the sky from the other side of the River Medway.
Firefighters were still on the scene at 8.30am the following morning.
