Gillingham arrests: Police find drugs and 'gun'

Two men have appeared in court accused of dealing Class A drugs.

Londoners Oluwatobiloba Ogunbadewa, 23, and Quamdeen Olanrewaju, 24, were stopped by police in James Street, Gillingham, at 12.30pm last Thursday.

Officers seized crack cocaine and heroin, four mobile phones, cash and a suspected starter pistol.

Ogunbadewa, of Whitefoot Lane, Bromley, and Olanrewaju of Mandela Street, Brixton, appeared before Medway magistrates on Friday.

They were charged with possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.

The duo are also accused of possession of criminal property and possession of an imitation firearm with intent.

They were remanded in custody until November 8 when they will appear at Maidstone Crown Court.
