Rochester reacts: Caroline Lucas's amendment to EU Withdrawal Bill voted down by MPs

MPs have rejected an amendment to the government's EU Withdrawal Bill saying animals can feel pain and emotion.
The amendment was brought by Green party co-leader Caroline Lucas who asked MPs to vote for the legislation which would recognise animals have feelings in UK law after Brexit.
