Police are appealing for witnesses after a deaf man was robbed in Chatham.

The 28-year-old man was walking from Luton Arches direction, on the left hand side of the road, and had £80 cash stolen from him during the attack in New Road, at around 4.45am on Thursday, August 6.

Three men were seen walking away from the victim on the same side of the road.

They were disturbed by car lights from further down the road and fled up a grass verge which leads to Old Road or Skinner Street.

Anyone with any information or witnesses to the robbery are being urged to contact Detective Constable Kieron Watts on 01634 792209, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
