Police appeal after 37-year-old man from Rochester died in crash on A229 in Maidstone

Investigations are continuing after a man from Rochester died after a crash on Sunday.
Emergency services were called after a silver VW Golf collided with trees and a telegraph pole on the A229 Chatham Road, on the slip road towards the Running Horse roundabout, at 3.37am.
The driver, a 37-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle ended up on its roof.
Officers remained at the scene for hours after the crash and Kent Fire and Rescue Service launched their drone at 10.09am to help police.
The A229 reopened at 11am but the slip road to the roundabout remained closed for most of the day for highways repair work.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the driver prior to the incident, to call 01622 798538 quoting reference MM/AH/28/17.
