Armed police at Strood home after weapon fears

Armed police and paramedics descended on a home following reports of a weapon at the scene.
Emergency services were called to a property in Bill Street Road, Strood, just before 11.05am after concerns were raised for the safety of a man.
An air ambulance also landed in a field in nearby Church Green.
A police spokesman said: "Officers, including armed officers, attended following initial reports a weapon may be at the scene.
"They have since ascertained the call was a medical incident and no weapon has been located."
A photograph taken at the scene shows several blue-light vehicles lining Bill Street Road.
The spokesman also confirmed that no serious injuries have been reported.
