19:04, 03 January 2018
Thieves who allegedly stole a car at knifepoint were stopped by police after officers boxed the vehicle in during a chase.
Police were alerted after the silver Vauxhall was taken from Medway this evening.
Officers spotted the car on the A2 in Gravesend and used the TPAC (tactical pursuit and containment) box strategy to stop it.
The car was pinned at the M25 fast slip and no officers were injured.
Two people are in custody and the knife was recovered.
