An attacker followed a victim to hospital and vandalised their car following an assault in Gillingham.
Police say a man aged in his 30s was left needing hospital treatment for facial injuries, after being assaulted.
The victim had been leaving a property in Napier Road, at 12.10am, on Tuesday, March 15 when he was approached by a suspect and then assaulted without warning.
As the victim made their way to Medway Maritime Hospital it was reported that the suspect followed his car along Napier Road, Canterbury Street and Montgomery Road before entering the hospital grounds.
It is then alleged that when the victim was in the hospital the suspect caused damage to the victim’s car.
Following the assault, officers carried out a number of lines of inquiry including an extensive review of CCTV footage and forensic examinations at the scene.
Anyone with information that might help the investigation, including dash cam footage from Medway Maritime Hospital, Canterbury Street or Napier Road is asked to call Kent Police.
