Back-to-back general election hustings in Medway will be live-streamed on KentOnline tonight.
With less than three weeks until voters go to the polls, we’ll bring you coverage from the three constituencies covering the Towns.
The KM Group and KMTV have teamed up with the Universities at Medway and Maxim PR to present the hustings at its Gillingham campus, with free parking at the Drill Hall car park.
Doors open to the Pilkington Building at 5.30pm, with the first hustings, for the Rochester and Strood constituency, starting at 5.45pm.
After an hour, it will be the turn of candidates for Gillingham and Rainham to face the voters, before the final session at 8.15pm, for the Chatham and Aylesford seat.
The Lib Dems, Greens and Labour have all confirmed their attendance, but Conservative hopefuls Kelly Tolhurst and Nathan Gamester have said they will not be taking part in hustings during the campaign, while Rehman Chisti said he was concentrating on engaging with people directly.
However, on Wednesday night, Canterbury’s Tory hopeful, Louise Harvey-Quirke, will be among the candidates at another hustings event at Canterbury Christ Church University.
She will be joined by Henry Stanton from the Green Party, Lib Dem Russ Timpson, Luke Buchanan-Hodgman from the Social Democratic Party, and Reform UK candidate Bridget Porter.
Labour’s Rosie Duffield had confirmed she was to attend, but has since said she is not doing hustings because of "constant trolling”.
The event will take place at Augustine Hall in Augustine House from 7pm, with a drinks reception before at 6.30pm.
There will be a box to submit questions on the night, or they can be sent in advance to corporatecommunications@canterbury.ac.uk by tomorrow (Tuesday).
The events in Medway and Canterbury will both be live-streamed on KentOnline.
Tickets are free but must be booked online in advance.
