A former X factor contestant is set for his second appearance at this year’s kmfm and MidKent College roadshow in Chatham on Friday.
Mike Hough, who performed at last year’s roadshow, will be joined by kmfm’s Rob Wills and Olivia Jones on Chatham High Street from 11am to 2pm.
The roadshow, which is now in its third year, is being staged at locations across the county to promote courses at the college’s Medway and Maidstone campuses.
The event is timed to coincide with GCSE and A Level results weeks. The aim of the event is to target young adults at a time when they are making key decisions about their future and to encourage them to consider college education.
The event includes onstage performances from performing arts college students, dance groups and special guest performances.
The roadshow dates have been changed and it now kicks off at Fremlin Walk, Maidstone on Monday.
Jai McDowell, winner of Britain's Got Talent 2011, will be performing at the roadshow from Monday to Thursday.
He will be appearing with the roadshow as it visits New Road, Gravesend on Tuesday, followed by Ashford town centre by the bandstand on Wednesday and Sittingbourne High Street on Thursday.
Christina Marie from The Voice will no longer be performing.
